The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and UK GDPR require me to explain the valid legal bases I rely on in order to process your personal information. As such, I may rely on the following legal bases to process your personal information:
⬦ Consent: I may process your information if you have given me permission (i.e. consent) to use your personal information for a specific purpose. You can withdraw your consent at any time.

In legal terms, I am generally the ‘data controller’ under European data protection laws of the personal information described in this privacy notice, since I determine the means and/or purposes of the data processing I perform.
This privacy notice does not apply to the personal information I process as a ‘data processor’ on behalf of my clients. In those situations, the client that I provide services to and with whom I have entered into a data processing agreement is the ‘data controller’ responsible for your personal information, and I merely process your information on their behalf in accordance with your instructions. If you want to know more about my clients’ privacy practices, you should read their privacy policies and direct any questions you have to them.

⬦ Security Cookies. I use Security Cookies for security purposes.
6. How long do I keep your information?
I will only keep your personal information for as long as it is necessary for the purposes set out in this privacy notice, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law (such as tax, accounting, or other legal requirements). No purpose in this notice will require me keeping your personal data for longer than the period of time in which clients have an account with me.
When I have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, I will either delete or anonymise such information, or, if this is not possible (for example, because your personal information has been stored in backup archives), then I will securely store your personal information and isolate it from any further processing until deletion is possible.
7. How do I keep your information safe?
I have implemented appropriate and reasonable security measures designed to protect the security of any personal information I process.
However, despite my safeguards and efforts to secure your information, no electronic transmission over the Internet or information storage technology can be guaranteed to be 100% secure, so I cannot promise or guarantee that hackers, cybercriminals, or other unauthorised third parties will not be able to defeat my security and improperly collect, access, steal, or modify your information.

In some regions (like the EEA and UK), you have certain rights under applicable data protection laws. These may include the right (i) to request access and obtain a copy of your personal information, (ii) to request rectification or erasure; (iii) to restrict the processing of your personal information; and (iv) if applicable, to data portability.

To request to review, update, or delete your personal information, please email me by using the contact details provided below.
Withdrawing your consent
You can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting me by using the contact details provided below.
However, please note that this will not affect the lawfulness of the processing before its withdrawal, nor will it affect the processing of your personal information conducted in reliance on lawful processing grounds other than consent.
Opting out of analytics
You may choose to prevent this website from aggregating and analyzing the actions you take here. Doing so will protect your privacy, but will also prevent the owner from learning from your actions and creating a better experience for you and other users.
Opting out of marketing and promotional communications
You can unsubscribe from my marketing and promotional communications at any time by clicking on the unsubscribe link in the emails that I send, or by contacting me using the details provided below.
You will then be removed from the marketing lists. However, I may still communicate with you — for example, to send you service-related messages to respond to service requests, or for other non-marketing purposes.
10. Controls for do-not-track features
Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems and mobile applications include a Do-Not-Track (‘DNT’) feature or setting you can activate to signal your privacy preference not to have data about your online browsing activities monitored and collected. At this stage no uniform technology standard for recognising and implementing DNT signals has been finalised.
As such, I do not currently respond to DNT browser signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked online. If a standard for online tracking is adopted that I must follow in the future, I will inform you about that practice in a revised version of this privacy notice.
11. Do I make updates to this notice?
I may update this privacy notice from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by an updated ‘Revised’ date and the updated version will be effective as soon as it is accessible.
If I make material changes to this privacy notice, I may notify you either by prominently posting a notice of such changes or by directly sending you an email.
12. How can you contact me about this notice?
If you have questions or comments about this notice, you may email me at contact_at_kopreon_dot_com.
