Secure parking infrastructure for urban micromobility.
BLOCK is a growth-stage startup, developing the next generation of docking stations for bicycles & kickscooters. Their mission is eradicating ride-theft by providing secure and convenient infrastructure for privately-owned vehicles.
A comprehensive brand refresh
Although the company had a well-defined logo and visual identity, they simply outgrown it’s overall feel and capacity after scaling from the MVP phase. This is where our story begins: refreshing and expanding the identity system to align with the company’s current stage.
A comprehensive brand refresh was done by refining the overall look and feel, while preserving the main characteristics to convey a modern, approachable vibe, appealing for urban riders and potential partners from municipals to businesses.

Consistency is key to recognition.
Through defining straightforward brand guidelines, I helped BLOCK to maintain a unified visual language across digital and physical mediums.

Putting it all into practice.
From print materials and physical surfaces to website and mobile app, BLOCK appears on a variety of mediums.
With a solid brand identity system in hand, refreshing the existing brand assets, and creating new ones became a joyful breeze.

From Squarepace to a WordPress mothership
Faithfully representing the company’s current expertise required a completely new website. For this to achieve, the site was meticulously redesigned and moved from Squarespace to a robust and scalable WordPress foundation.

Website evolution was achieved through a complete redesign and a robust new build. Thoughtful segmentation, detailed product showcases, and many informative pages that build trust and strengthen BLOCK’s credibility.

Copywriting framework
As the part of the website design process, I provided copywriting framework, directly on the design canvas to support copywriting process.

“Koppány is a true creative professional. Been working with him for two years now for that very reason.
Had several “wow” moments when he came up with an idea that I wish I had thought first. Or when he presented a concept in an engaging, even interactive way.
Helped with brand redesign, website development, printed materials, the list goes on. Without him, we’d be lagging behind on every front.
